The story of a young girl named Evelyn Monroe is faced with a reality check as her life begins to go downhill… The film will start with an opening scene of a wide angled long shot of a deceased ancient tree with a noose attached to it. On a branch the opposite side of the tree, there will be a red swing which will be a key part of the film later on. The camera will them dolly into a small engravement on the tree which will spell out ‘Evelyn Monroe’. The 16 year old girl has had a rough childhood as her horrific fantasies become a reality as the film progresses. The whole film with have a grey scale effect throughout, with pops of red such as the swing and red roses at the most important parts of the film. The little girl and her mother Victoria both have a bad relationship, Evelyn has been abused by her mother her whole entire life which results in her running away. The opening scene will last 20 seconds before fading in and cutting to the next scene which will be the little girl looking in the mirror brushing her hair and singing a hymn which the opening scene will also have. A shadow will constantly be rushing past the girl as she's looking into the mirror. As the little girl is brushing her hair, the camera will zoom into the mirror leaving a close up of Evelyn’s pale innocent face. The film will cut to the next scene which will be a flashback of her horrific childhood. We will add a shadowing effect of the girl and her mother arguing and the mother hitting her. Throughout the film, there will also be a symbol that will be hidden in different scenes, this symbol is a key feature as it reveals how the little girl gets possessed later on in the film. The film as a whole shows the little girl's horrific life and childhood and how it eventually results in her killing herself. The ghostly twist on this film is that the ghost inside of the girl will be the thing that results in the girl killing herself, almost as a conscience leading her to her death. This film will end in with the same opening scene which means that our film will have a cyclical structure.
